Receptionist

At JBC Lawyers we go above and beyond to serve and empower our clients. Our objective is to do everything we reasonably can to help victims of personal injury and to help our clients recover physically, emotionally and financially.

The Receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls and conducting interviews with potential clients between the hours of 9am and 3pm Monday through Friday. This team member will also provide administrative and clerical assistance to support the needs of the firm's associates and its clientele as needed.

Tasks of the Receptionist will vary daily and will develop overtime to provide opportunities for personal and professional growth within the firm.

Daily tasks will often include:
  • Screen and manage phone calls and other firm correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)

  • Greet and assist clients or other business associates that visit the firm

  • Manage the firm's calendar to ensure notifications are set to remind associates of deadlines, meetings and other important events

  • Prepare documents

  • Obtain photos, videos, reports or other evidence

  • Create, update and maintain case files for accuracy and completeness

  • Performing data entry

  • Track office supplies and place orders when necessary

  • Assist colleagues
